Our Catholic school is part of the Catholic Church. We work in partnership with our local parish and priests in order to enrich the spiritual life of the students, staff and families of our school, especially through the celebration of the Sacraments.
St Mary’s Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School Hurstville provides opportunities for students, staff and parents to know and celebrate our Catholic faith. Students participate in fortnightly prayer assemblies led by each grade and attend whole school and grade Masses every term. Years 3–6 also have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation once a term. St Mary’s Star of the Sea supports the Sacramental Program which is led by the parish and is very strongly supported by our school with all staff attending these important celebrations.
